1994. Shellee and Brandon meet at duPont Manual high school. They learn about art. They make each other laugh.
They became great friends, and form a solid group of close friends. Somehow in many photos, they always seem to be right next to each other.
1998. They graduate high school. Shellee goes to the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and Brandon goes to the Kansas City Art Institute. They try to stay in touch, but college keeps them busy and they mostly don't see each other for years.
2002. They graduate college. Like all of their friends, they figure out that Louisville isn't all that bad and they come home. Their friend group reunites, and they hang out all the time. Yay!
2008. Years pass by. And somewhere around the millionth time of making each other laugh, something a little magical happens...

Christmas Night, 2010. Brandon and Shellee get home very, very, late from a friend's Christmas party. Shellee is exhausted, but Brandon says his gift will "only take a minute" to open up. However, it takes much longer than a minute, as it is a mystery box full of riddles and ends with one magical jewelry box, an heirloom ring, and one special proposal. Shellee was very, very, surprised. And happy.
She said yes!
May 19, 2012. The couple were happily married in a wonderful ceremony surrounded by many close friends and family members. The reception was an amazing celebration, and they will cherish the memories for a lifetime to come. Now. Shellee and Brandon are still creating art after all these years. Shellee is a freelance designer who makes websites (like this one), as well as printed design.
